ABOUT
Creative Director Anya White is a fashion industry specialist. Anya has a degree in Fashion Knitwear & textile Design from Limerick School of Art and Design, and a Masters in Science in Fashion Buying & Management from the Technological University of Dublin. She is passionate about the maintaining and reshoring of apparel manufacturing in Europe from sustainably sourced materials to bulk manufacturing of clothing and textiles.

Having worked in the Fashion Industry since 2015 Anya has expertise in sourcing supplies and suppliers, cost negotiation, production management, on-site supervision of the production. Anya is an experienced Development Fashion Buyer.

RESEARCH
In her master`s thesis, Anya conducted research on reshoring and nearshoring opportunities in the Fashion Manufacturing Industry of Ireland. The study discussed evidence of reshoring in the apparel manufacturing industry in western countries and the US context. It examined the size of the Irish textile manufacturing sector historically to reveal the effect of the globalisation movement that has started at the end of the 20th century and has changed supply chains and manufacturing industries forever. It then expands on sustainability trends in the fashion industry and its influence on customer behavior resulting in pressure on reassessing existing supply chains in the Fashion Industry. The importance of ever-evolving technologies in both automation and digitalization in fashion design plays a major role in creating new supply chain strategies in the Fashion Industry. The aim of this research was to investigate the reshoring and nearshoring phenomenon in the context of the Republic of Ireland.
